With its wild and imposing beauty, rich fauna, vegetation and streams violently flowing on its sides and its caves, Vikos canyon has a length of about <b>10 kilometers<\/b> and intersects <b>Timfi Mountain<\/b> by starting at <b>Vitsa and Monodendri<\/b> and ending at <b>Voidomatis springs<\/b> at <b>Vikos village<\/b>. <b>Vikos canyon<\/b> is reported at <b>Guiness Book of Records of Year 1997<\/b>, as the <b>deeper and narrower canyon of the world, with a depth of 900 meters and width varying from 100 to 1,100 meters.<\/b> The view to the canyon is magic, especially from <b>Vradeto village (Mpeloi locality) and from Oxia locality, near Monodendri.<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vikos canyon is the dominating and most impressive geomorphologic formation at Zagori..
