Vehicle tours—Driving through the park

Tours with vehicles are allowed across the officially designated roads. Given the Park’s status as a nature preserve off-roading is prohibited. All villages and towns can be accessed via asphalt-paved roads. In some cases, long buses and double-deckers may find it hard to reach certain locations. For your safety and that of others, follow the existing road network; avoid speeding because at any time on the road you may come across people, herds of livestock or wild animals. Rain and snow can have detrimental effects on dirt roads therefore we strongly advise that they should only be attempted with all-wheel drive vehicles. During the winter season you should always have snow chains with you and pay attention to ice on the road.
